Kevin Hobgood is a third-generation builder and developer with a deep family legacy in construction, design, and land development. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Kevin has led the execution of complex, high-end projects across commercial, medical, multifamily, hospitality, and luxury residential sectors.
Kevin holds the highest level of commercial contractor licensure, enabling him to work at the highest tiers of construction complexity. His commercial background includes work for national brands, medical facilities, large-scale multifamily developments, and high-profile clients including Disney, where architectural precision, coordination, and execution standards are non-negotiable.
Earlier in his career, Kevin founded and led Hobgood Construction Group, building it into a respected design-build firm serving institutional, corporate, hospitality, medical, and multifamily clients throughout the Southeast. The firm earned a reputation for delivering fast-track, architecturally complex work through fully integrated design-build execution. Kevin later sold his ownership interest in the company, which continues to operate today.
Today, Kevin’s primary focus is residential construction through Hobgood Residential, where he brings commercial-grade discipline and architectural rigor to the creation of luxury custom homes. In parallel, he is an active personal investor in the multifamily market, applying decades of development, construction, and operational insight to long-term ownership and value creation.
Kevin also provides select consulting and advisory services on large-scale commercial projects, supporting owners, developers, and project teams with preconstruction strategy, constructability review, sequencing, and execution planning—engagements undertaken by referral and limited in scope.
